Adidas are a global name in sports clothing and we’re lucky enough to regularly provide them with flatlay photography for their products.
Flatlay is a really effective way of photographing clothes, there’s none of the hassle of hiring models or trying to get our ghostly mannequin to show off the garments. It’s back to basics, just the photographer, their camera and the clothing (and occasionally our resident office lizard, SKUey, watching over it all from his ceiling vantage point).
Several months ago we shot the top secret All Blacks jerseys ready for release (which we think is perhaps partially to thank for New Zealand’s recent Rubgy World Cup victory) and since then we’ve photographed hundreds more products for Adidas, all in our winning flatlay style. We’ve got our flatlay method down to a fine art, from the steaming to the final editing of the images, everything runs like a well-oiled machine.
It’s not only clothing that we shoot for Adidas, we also work with accessories including sports balls, shoes, hats, towels and bags. These each require a slightly different method of photography, but we know how to shoot it all just how Adidas like it. We look forward to our continued work with Adidas, well into the future.
